Profile:

Victor M. Polo Querol was born in September 1964 in Barcelona, Spain. He received his M.Sc. degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC).in Barcelona in 1993. In 2000 he began working with the Optical Communication Group (GCO) at the Signal Theory and Communications (TSC) department in the UPC. In 2006 becomes doctor and his Ph.D. was on tunable semiconductor lasers performances for optical fiber communication,  into the GCO group at the UPC under the supervision of Prof. Josep Prat.
